Fact is Libya is a wonderful country with great potential but only if 2 conditions can be met:
1) A secular Government even if its members derive or find it's inspiration, ethics and morality from the Quaran. No Government based on a religion can make the necessary adaptations and compromises or uphold the rights of minorities, tin a changing world. Governments must be able to compromise. Religions never do.
2) The Militias get disarmed and are forced to compete in a Democratic manner without guns, bombs and violent rhetoric.
By all means disagree but that is not an excuse for kidnap, murder and violence. And in particular any religious leader or leader proclaiming to be acting on the basis of a religion, who espouses violent actions or indiscriminate attacks on unarmed civilians should simply be jailed.
It is time for good and honest people to shut down the men of violence.
