Egypt is still abiding by the Camp David Accords. Azerbaijan, a predominately Shiite Muslim nation, has close diplomatic relations with Israel. Israel has reached out to Turkmenistan, north of Iran, because iran has not. Egypt, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan are all part of the Middle East and Central Asia, and so is Israel.
