This article/research from the IPA is completely flawed. And most of the human rights organizations in Honduras are corrupt. The facts are that former President Zelaya pushed to alter the constitution of Honduras. And he broke the law in this process in an attempt to remain in power. The Congress of Honduras voted against his proposed changes but Zelaya acted to make these changes to the Honduran constitution. These are the facts.

The regrettable truth is that some countries endure one bad government after another. The faint praise you can give Lobo is that he is less damaging than Zelaya would have been.
