Historic mansion used as prison in Sri Lanka to be handed over to the President today
July 13, Colombo: Sri Lanka Ministry of Rehabilitation and Prison Reforms will officially hand over, the historic 'Ehelepola Walawwa' mansion, which has been used as a prison for nearly 195 years, to the President Mahinda Rajapaksa today.
