Nov 15, Colombo: The Sri Lankan government plans to convert an old colonial building in the heart of the capital Colombo to a five-star hotel at a cost of US$ 1 billion.

Who is arithmetically challenged here? Can you imagine the payback period for a building costing a thousand million dollars? Put it another way MR is actually planning a hotel which costs a (small) multiple of Sri Lanka's GDP ? Hambantota Airport and Mihin were clearly mistakes. This is goofy.

yes I agree would have given thalivar one thousand billion land mines to blow up school buses.
Killer demalu are now mathematician, the pakayo coudnt do the simple calculation that one fat thalivar and 40,000 suiside thangathies had no chance. LOL
