Mate she's selling assets, and spending all the cash she can get. The 22 Bil that Howard had left over was given out to the nohopers and dole bludges She's now gonna tax the miners, who are already paying royalties to the States, so the miners will be double taxed. She invented a Carbon Tax that taxes all businesses who in turn pass it on to the Mr and Mrs average by way of uping the price of everything. Mate she'a and Atheist, Ex-Commo, Poofter supporter.Living with a guys who is a Ladies Hairdresser--You know what I mean. Sports a huge fat arse, a Long nose and worst of all she a pommie who hails from South Australia. Mate she's hasn't got one good point I can name.

Rudd, Swann & Gillard should be tried for treason against the nation. In 5 years taking us from $80b in the black to $250b in the red at a time of prosperity.

Prediction: whoever wins the next election the government will have to sell their remaining share in Qantas & Telstra plus sell off Australia post to reduce debt.

Shame she didn't talk about one of the biggest problems... Border Protection and our navy being used as a taxi service.... the spin and avoidance of issues by politicians does my head in....and politicians pay rises...

Mate there will be debts that are hidden by Swan and Gilliar and the next Government will be selling all those assets and more to get us of of the shit. I like her or Swan to come to the Cloncurry , Roma or few other wild west Town Pubs, they would get lynched in the main street. They all but F#$ked the cattle industry with help of Lame brain Senator Ludwig, by halting cattle exports.

I cannot stand Gilliar and cohorts, but they new about the "slaughtering" techniques going on in Indonesia and all the other live export welfare horror stories for a long time.

I've family in the cattle industry (nth west nsw) and mate, cattle while a primary product, don't deserve to be tortured so they can be eaten halal. That should have been cleaned up a long time ago. You use to hear about that as chinese whispers in the cattle industry.

In the end Ludwig and Gilliar screwed up the industry and did sweet f-all to address the humane aspect of this anyway. I will agree they handled it with their usual labor incompetence.

Having said that, how many parties REALLY identify with the realities of bush or rural life. Even the farmer's federation tends to be a toothless joke standing up for the average farmer's interests. It's all about self serving politics these days.

Labor and Liberals aren't going to do ANYTHING about multi national companies having the token right to march onto your property and coal seam gas mine/explore if they wish. Even protecting water table areas , they're all sitting on their hands.

It stinks.

Mate your problem in NSW is the Liberals are the major party and not representive of the bush, you need more local farmers or graziers in the National Party to take the lead from the Libs, Like in Qld LNP the National are and always have been the major party in the coalition, so the ush get heard. Forget that LNP bullshit the Nats know who they are.

Yep, you are spot on about that. The trouble is that the local NP around our area would be puppets for the Libs, so lost a lot of respect and votes. Qld is different to NSW. NSW may take the piss out of Qld for being 'rednecks', but if you are, at least your rednecks with some backbone.

I'm hoping to shift to Qld myself within the next year or so. NSW is virtually stuffed. I hope Qld never follows the same way as NSW has gone.(well aside from the insidious coal seam gas which seems to have infested everywhere)

Politicians forget whats beyond the city limits - the industries that keep Australia running. I think it says a lot that most Sydney & Melbourne politicians spend more time overseas than in the bush. He may be as mad as a cut snake but he at least sticks up for the bush & I'll keep voting for the hatted one.
