I wonder how many more millions of Australian taxpayer's money our Government is going give the corrupt Indonesian Government, to check out the Middle eastern visitors, who arrive in their country with no return ticket... and no doubt the release of the 'Indonesian - children - people smugglers who are in our jails for working on people smuggling boats, will be discussed..... People smuggling is illegal in Australia, drug smuggling is illegal in Indonesia... Indonesia needs to remember that...My bet is the people smugglers will be released at Indonesia's request, the drug smuggler's will remain in jail...

They've been known to execute our alleged drug smugglers.
Haven't heard Gillard saying too much about executing alleged people smugglers.

Actually suta , I'm one of those that think Corby was set-up.....notwithstanding , I get a bit tired of Australians trying to dictate how other countries should legislate their laws....much the same as I dont like other countries dictating ours.....the people who refuse to put the "boat-people" problem in the proper perspective , are a far bigger social problem than the boat people themselves......it's not fashionable to use commonsense these days.....sad.

i heard her family was criminals is that true?

well we don't catch them because most of them(the arabs and others)came here legally...we caught some boatpeople and sent them to a facility and we dont have enough personnel to watch the entire coast of Indonesia to catch them departing

Why do a lot of Aussies become drug smugglers?

Is that what they teach in Australian schools, for kids to aspire to become drug smugglers????

Most Aussies don't.

For someone to risk their life to smuggle drugs into a country there must be a pretty good market in that country.
