I was made redundant from BAE SYSTEMS because I expressed a desire to seek advancement and further opportunities within the company. I was told on the last working day of the year before the Xmas break that I will finish with the company on 31 Jan. They were going to move my family (wife and 3 daughters) back to Newcastle, our home, but 4 days before the move and just 1 week before school started they said they would not be moving us back, they had changed their minds. My job still exists so it has not been made redundant, and I never resigned; I was just told by HR '...you will finish on 31 Jan...' Merry Xmas eh? Steve Rae Adelaide 08 834325015
