Yep, it's working...

"But there have not been any recent arrests of people smugglers in Indonesia that could be considered high profile, while more than 800 people have arrived in Australia on 16 boats in the first nine days of November."

That averages out at about 100 a day, so by the end of Nov we should have 3,000 new residents.

Yep, it's working...Yep, it's working...Yep, it's working...Yep, it's working...Yep, it's working...Yep, it's working...

If I say it often enough will it come true?

Isn't it 6,000 in the last year? And they're congratulating themselves on a couple hundred that have gone back voluntarily with money in hand for their 'compensation'?

So that would make approximately a thousand a month in the last calendar year if the numbers remain the same? Is that 'working'?

Smugglers make about a million dollars a year according to one report I read recently. Who's going to stop that kind of money from pouring into Indonesia?

They lie and lie and lie...

If Howard had stayed in the amount coming in would have been a lot less! Ranga has done very little to slow them down. There is far too many of the waste of space breed of people coming in.

The trouble is it's the wrong kind being allowed to stay, while there may be a handful of decent hardworking people being allowed to stay, we are expected to keep the mentally ill and criminals... The family of the people smuggler Capt Emad, should have been deported, they lied about him, what a joke, but who is laughing - them...
