Enhance mutual trust - implies there was a lack of it?!

All this sounds nonsense as Australlia is clearly aligned with the US from a strategic point of view.

Never, we are each others paramount trading partners and a middle power broker nation for the US and China! The US has turned to us for help in this regards. Our relationship with China is always on sound basis ensured by our sizable Chinese ethnic population since federation.
