The EU as well as USA are looking forward to Croatia & Slovenia finding a mutual resolution to on-going border dispute. The US strongly endorsed Croatia becoming member of NATO and lends its full support for Croatia to join the EU. One can only hope that Slovenia is willing to support and agree to a resolution that benefits Croatia as well and not just Slovenia. Considering that most of the Adriatic coast-line belongs to Croatia and a narrow coastal strip belonging to Slovenia, I'm hopeful that Croatia won't have to make major concessions.

Frankly who cares about the EU ? Why would Croatia join EU at all ! Its enough that we join the European standard organization & keep on going into our own tracks until we are really ready to join the EU.
