Slovenia must STOP abusing its EU memebership and permit Croatia to move forward with joining the EU. Slovenia is acting very selfish in this matter and exhibiting lack of consideration towards Croatia. Slovenia may pay the ultimate price for not being willing to negotiate.

What a great news!!
I hope those two territories that proclaimed their "independence" illegally and are based on war crimes go on and start a war and kill each other to the last one. |

I think Krajina Forever Serbian still can't get over the fact that Croatia 'raped' Serbs and beat the crap out of them.
I don't know what you mean by "Krajina forever serbian", I mean, it never was. Krajina is a territory that Croats gifted to Serbian refugees who fled from Turks. Serbs settled there and what would you know, instead of being grateful they thought they could just kill some Croats instead. |

1 Stokavian=Serbian language is spoken by Serbs, regardless whether they were denationalised and assimilated at some point. Likewise, Kajkavian=Slovenian is spoken by Slovenes. Istriot=Italian, and Dalmatian=Italian is spoken by the authentic inhabitants of Istria and Dalmatia. And that's all there is to it. |

There are always some good and some bad news.
It's -- of course -- a wonderful piece of news to hear that Slovenia and Croatia failed to settle border dispute. There will be skirmishes in the Bay of Piran soon, leading to blockades and hopefully war. |

1 Slovenia is rightfully defending its interests not permitting Croatia to steal it's territory. In order to continue negotiations with EU Croatia must first remove official documents delivered to EU in which slovenian land and sea is shown as croatian. Simple as that. |

1 Absurd comment. Slovenia agreed on the current borders when the internal borders of yugoslavia were drawn up. Slovenes agreed on the borders and said nothing or protested about the Piran border until lately and now when Slovenia is part of the EU she wants a land claim how odd! This shows the Slovenian government their dishonest behaviour by going back on their sighned border area agreement. From what i know Slovenes never had a history in sailing in these waters as the area had a long history of venetian and croatian sailers but Slovenes were more busy yodeling in the alps then to cast their fishing rods into the adriatic. If anything the Slovenes have taken the Croatian land to the north east called Prek Murje. My advice to you is that you write a letter to the Slovene Government to apologise to Croatia for going back on the Piran agreement. |

1 I also find it odd that you slovenes want Piran even though there are hardly any slovenes living in that area compared to east Austria and Italy where a sizeable Slovene population exists yet Slovenia seems not to care about these Slovenes in the Italian Austrian Slovene border. This in itself shows Slovenias lack of credibility on the issue. |
