15 years after China takeover, Hong Kong uneasy

Jun 29, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Salt Lake Tribune

For thousands of Hong Kongers, this weekend's 15th anniversary of China's takeover of the semiautonomous territory isn't a moment to celebrate but a chance to air grievances from corruption scandals to human rights to a widening gap between rich and poor.

Why has China been humiliated by Japan?

Because China is led by idiot losers, who can be manipulated like puppets, silly!

Anyone on earth can throw China's weak and feeble dictatorship into a total panic merely by saying "Tianannmen 1989" in earshot of any CCP slaves, or by a mention of any one of a hundred other CCP crimes against the Chinese people!

Get it?

The CCP regime is tolerated because it is WEAK due to the "special needs" of the illegitimate CCP regime!

WEAK, WEAK, WEAK!

A PUPPET for Tokyo to play with!

In the days of the old British colonialist rule, dated back pre-1997, the Middle-class HongKie Chinese twerps were the king of the land.
They were mostly senior ranking civil servants (all the highest posts were reserved for the white, and British born only), and were experts in foot-licking their British masters.
In return for their loyalty, their British masters allowed them to take bribes, and allowances for their kids to be educated in the UK.
Came Chinese Rule, all these illegal goodies were take away from them. The reasons why these Middle Calss twerps in Hong Kong burn their canles annually in Victoria Park to show their disgruntle of Chinese rule.

Today in Hong Kong, all the top civil service posts are opened to the qualified candidates. No race or creed discrimination set as were in the British days.

In them awful, all the 'Top' posts were filled by 'White and British' only.
That was Hong Kong in the British days.

We love Hong Kong under the Rule of the Motherland today!

Yes, that's the 0.3% gweil0 arse-licking rent boys who goes out slandering and smearing the mainland Chinese most weekends.
The same 0.3% Anglo-bankroled trouble-making mudderfckkers in Hong Kong.
These w@ankers are of course multi-passport holders. They don't give a shyte the economic and low standing of HK; the direction it would go down the sewer because the disorder their Western foreign masters' agenda pursuit.
Leung Chun-ying should round them all up, and deport the rats back to the USA, Canada, the UK and Australia.

The HongKies have never been happier!

I guess your one of those hundreds of thousands of dumb soldout monkeys who bought yourself a Canadian passport (other class of dicks bought themselves the US, British, French, Australia, New Zealand, etc., etc. ones)to 'escape' the commies takeover of HK back in 1997.

Since then, the price of apartments in the territory have risen more ten folds, well beyond the current bank accounts of the soldout dicks who fled. Many of them hope to fan the fall of HK so they can come and die.
No such luck la!

Like I keep asking;
If Democracy was so great, why didn't the Brits bestow it upon the HongKongers?
A-HHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHH AHAHAHAHAHHAHAA!
I don't know what you wanted the Brits to bestow upon the HK Chinese. Democracy is a process where the majority will decide what form of government, what type of society, life the people will have in the country. It was decided by the majority of the people in the UK during the colonial era that the Chinese in HK were to have that much of rights as a colony of the Crown. Today, when people look back to that colonial era, they themselves why the Chinese in HK were treated like that. But in those days it was normal practice in Europe.

Democracy has nothing to do with equal rights for everyone nor equal rights for women, for gays.

Switzerland is well known to be the oldest modern democracy in Europe. Yet, women in Switzerland were allowed to vote at the federal level only in 1970 (43 years ago). Why ? because the majority of the Swiss people didn't not want Swiss women to vote. Their own Swiss women and not Chinese women mind you.

You seem to confuse democracy with something else, probably equal rights for everyone, British and Chinese in HK should have equal rights. That is another debate. Things were that way in the old days. What do you want to do?

Here, people are debating about democracy in China and in HK. Now that the white "colonialists" are gone, why can't the Chinese vote and decide what kind of government they want??

why? you ask why?
Well it is simple, because China is now ruled by filthy commie cadre's that have no intention of letting their people have a say or choice.
and yet they talk about The British and HK as if it was a bad time for the people living there
