Good choice - a bit self evident but still good

No body has ever mentioned his name in this forum until now. Some people thought it would be the daughter of Jacques Delors.

Aubry's name was the first to come when you thought 'prominent socialist' but she woud have been more competitor than ally for the new president. Then, she has more socialist leanings than Hollande who is truly a socio-democrat. In a radio interview aubry had let it known she would be have a role in the next parliamentary election (i.e.) she woould not be in the next government

On the other hand Ayrault is well connected, has a very good record as mayor of Nantes... and is no danger to Hollande, contrarily to other candidates. His name had been floating about in the French media for a few days..

Aubry is too left wing.

Don't listen to Ronan, he doesn't live in France, and is a pro-islamist . he isn't a French-Algerian either, he just likes going abroad to see more moslems . Over here in the UK he is pro-islamic and anti-British.
