What is it about conservatism that brings financial crisis every time they are in power? Sweep those right-wingers out of the way and put progressives in power to run things… that is obviously the only path to peace and prosperity.

After reading the article it seems that Sarkozy is doing exactly the same thing as Obama, what with bailing out Renault and having a "stimulus".

We are fed a constant diet of what conservatism is and is not by a liberal progressive press. Sarkozy is not conservative. He is just another new world order guy. There to make those at least try to believe in common sense feel better. he makes the minor changes that causes people to scream when they do not get their way and then the leftward movement continues. a true right wing person is needed there. One who will cut taxes, eliminate laws that imprison the taxpayers, and increase the rights of all citizens. All of these statements must be instituted. Not just one or two of them and then victory is declared. Sarkozy answers to Rothschild. So obvious.

Well water carrier, the Conservatives got in because the Progressives couldn't fix France's problems.
.
The French want the economic glory without doing the sacrifice. No government can fix that attitude (American Progressives please take note).

funny, sounds a lot like whats going on in the US. Their jobs are going to Turkey, ours are going to India and China. Their people are rioting in the streets, ours arent. We should be. They have a large influx of Islamist, so do we, but at least they are protesting it. We arent. We just let them come right in and have to adapt to their rules. BS

If you had an IQ of 4 you would have read that the conservatives voted for him, the whiners (moderates against) as well as the loons. Do you still see the cars burining in the streets?

Hey, France, don't let the conservatives engage in their typical scorched Earth policies of bankrupting the country, robbing the treasury, before they leave.

Unfortunately, whether you are being sarcastic or not, I have to agree...... it's time to get the conservatives out of power, they are way behind the times and are trying to slow everyone down with a 2 ton lead ball so that they can spring ahead of them, even though they keep the stupidest opinions about capitalism and socialism in the world.

Let me be blunt: unrestrained capitalism is bad, unrestrained socialism is bad..... but the first is infinitely worse than the second.

China, you say? Again: NOT SOCIALIST! They are an elitist system where some people have 'more' than other people.... in a true absolutely socialist society, everyone would be living in identical houses, have identical possessions, etc.

That isn't my idea of 'heaven'..... but neither is a world where people are having to live on the streets, starve to death, are unable to afford health insurance, etc.

I was not being sarcastic, not one bit. It angers and pains me to think about what the GOP did to this great nation during the disastrous 8 years of that inept idiot Bush. And then to see these unpatriotic right-wingers come on here with no shame about what their side did; and criticizes everything that President Obama does to try and clean up there mess is just disgusting.

Furthermore, when you see these ignorant tea-baggers out protesting against their own best interest, that is just the height of “pathetic”. Fox News has kept them in fear and stroked in their bigotry so that they won’t think… they just stay all worked up and stupid.

AND NOW IT'S 2010,

33 YEARS LATER ...

AND THE BUDGET FOR THIS

NECESSARY DEPARTMENT

$24.2 BILLION A YEAR

IT HAS

16,000

FEDERAL EMPLOYEES

AND APPROXIMATELY
