While I support an investigation into any and all human rights violations wherever it is practised, this is beginning to look like a witch hunt. Not one of these developed countries, even though they had complained on numerous occasions about the human rights situation in China, have done a damn thing about it, instead they have heightened their trade with China, so much so that the US now owes China roughly two trillion US dollars.

What is the real problem here, and when did this become a problem? As far as I know it was never a problem when human rights were being violated in Guyana. Never.
Why is it suddenly a problem? Well lets make it simple, the administration has discovered that the World has more countries besides US, Europe and Canada. Once this discovery is made, next step is to introduce yourself to the new guys, new guys often means new investments, new technology etc, now do the maths, what is the result, Growth of course and in different areas/ sectors.

But, wait a minute, this is becoming dangerous,“how dare labile Guyana, try to crawl out of the gutter, don't they know this is not allowed, don't they know we are the ones who dictates who gets out of the gutter and when”, said US, Europe and Canada in one voice.

“Don't these fools know we have left them alone, abiding our time when we would come in and take their natural resources, giving them pennies for pounds”.“Now they dare attract other players in the playing field?”

“Okay, we have to keep up the pretence of being highly civilized, we cannot invade, enslaved and loot, a pity those days are over”. A roar of laughter.“Seriously, what measures are we going to use against Guyana, we have a lot to choose from, thats the problem. Lets choose one that we know will be immensely difficult for them to solve.”“Are you kidding me?”“Which one of these problems do you think they can solve?” Another roar of laughter.“Fellas lets rap this up, I say the human rights issue, its a mild one, also one that speaks to the mind of everyone everywhere and most of all bearing in mind the country's ethnic composition, they will fail at. Shall we have a vote on it?”“No, its not necessary, we'll do that”.

WHAT.... ABOUT.... THE HUMAN RIGHTS.... SITUATION.... IN ...IRAQ,... ONCE ...A ... RICH... COUNTRY... NOW... COMPLETELY... DESTROYED? Who is calling on who about this?
