there are no similarities. Bashar al Assad, it is a normal, civilian president.
Egypt has a second choice too, it is the second civilian candidate, who is much better than Sissy and he should be elected. cia should detach at last.

Dictators hold elections to give them the perception of winning an election even though they have either imprisoned, killed or declared their opposition illegal. Look at Assad, there can only be 1 party and in that party he must win, so why have an election, because he wants to be able to celebrate a win, even though it will be a farce.

it is criminal job of global criminals from cia and just like every activity of criminals from cia l it will be end with tragedy for tousends of Egyptians.
People should have a common sense and vote for this another candidate: Sabahi, who is fair, honest and good Egyptian and represents such values and proposals, who are good for majority of people in Egypt.

Why do Americans hold elections???

Does anything ever change?

The faces at the top of the system change; but the system, and the policies, remain the same!!!
