He is lucky it wasnt one of my children he abused. He would never have had to spend even one day in jail. Hell maybe but jail not.

Isn't it also interesting that the Sentinel writes an "ex-Fitchburg" man instead of writing a Worcester man.

Just more of the same ole stuff from the Sentinel trying to stir the bees.

What does race have anything to do with it? child molesters are of all races! many are Irish. In todays paper an ex court clerk got two years probation for Ra.ping two women! He coerced one woman for s. ex. ual favors and then threatened another into having s. ex. These two women had cuffs on and the clerk took advantage of them! Nice huh??? Oh and he was Irish!

But for one you feel that it was okay because he was a "pillar" of the community court clerk? Why didn't this ra. pist get atleast six years?

It is heartbreaking that we have three children in our community whose indecent assault and batterer got a measly six years.
Shame on the judge.
My hat goes off to the children (perhaps teens by now) who had the courage to testify against their perpetrator--my admiration and respect for their strength and resilience is hard to articulate. They are heroes.

It took 11 years to convict this pervert?

Speedy justice would have prevented subsequent events.

I'd be interested to know more about the case, like if by sexual assault we are talking about rape of a child? Or rather, rape of (at least) three children? Most victims never come forward at all, so I can only imagine that this was horrific and blatant enough for the kids to overcome their shame and fear in order to stop this man.If he was proven guilty of robbing the innocence of three local children, beyond the shadow of doubt, why is he serving such a short sentence? Good job to the victims and their lawyer for protecting the community by bringing this man to justice. I pray that these kids can get on with their lives now...and I even pray for the convicted man's rehabilitation.

He has ruined the lives of these poor children and gets six years, they will suffer for the rest of their lives. Wonder how the judge would feel if these were his children, pathetic!

This person needs to be handled appropriately out on the streets once he is done being coddled by our court system. The judge should also be dealt with for continuing to make a joke of our justice system.

I hear everyone on six years! what if this person was caught using cocaine - taking it themselves - not really hurting anyone but themselves? Oh yah they would have gotten more time then six years - Judicial system makes little sense! Now he gets to wear the GPS bracelet! Come on this stupid ignorant stuff about oh this one and that level 3 sex offender is grandfathered in so they don't have to wear one! There is little to risk when you are being proactive...once a pedophile always a pedophile - the urge is always there - yes with treatment the urge is lessoned but the urge is always there....stop the grandfathered in stuff when it comes to pedophiles - whether you had the bracelet or not the first time they commited the act it was not going to prevent them - so should have made him wear it then...
