LOL!!!....

After a decade in the military, you obviously became so used to doing only what you were told to do that you now have failed to see the message of Christ Jesus, even though you may read it.

His message is to rely on the Faith that you develop within yourself - the Kingdom of Heaven within you - and to always seek to base your Faith in truth.

Forgiveness and mercy, Love, these are not purely imaginary, Joe.

Light and Life. These are not just nice concepts, Joe. They are the stuff of Creation. They are the products of countless suns and an infinite Mind, alive in a Being Beyond any imaginable depth in either space or time.

Get outside of the box, Joe. Find out what works.

What is the sin of lying Joe? An outright knowing lie. You know very well that I am a Christian having taken HOLY ORDERS as a Daughter of the King, as a baptized Christian, as a confirmed member of the Episcopal Church...why do you think that you saying that I am not a Christian does anything to me? IT DOES EVERYTHING TO YOU. SATAN HAS A GOOD HOLD ON YOU BOY AND YOU BETTER SHAKE HIM SOON...BEFORE YOU CAN'T.

I'LL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR YOU.

I know what you claim to be on this forum, but there's an old old Puritan saying that a man could "go to hell with baptismal water on his face," and it doesn't matter what denomination that water came from.

I don't know what point you are trying to make. But, I have never said that Jesus did not understand obedience. His whole life and ministry was a supreme act of obedience, even to being willingly crucified.

But, your reference to the words of St. Paul, above, is not a quote of Jesus or even a reference to a quote of Jesus. It is an encouragement to find personal discipline in Christ.

If you are a Puritan then fine...you change your faith daily to suit you. You refuse to apologize for your outright lies against me. If you think that saying that I am not a Christian makes it so, then you ARE mental.

It has nothing to do with being a Puritan and everything to do with going through all the motions of being a Christian, thinking they can "membership" themselves into heaven.

Where the Heck are you at, boy?

Writing and saying such things as you have above, what makes you think that YOU are going to have any membership?

The fact is that, at the very least, and I don't mean this as any criticism of Selecia, she goes through the motions and believes and means it.

The same cannot be said of you, Joe. As a matter of fact, you go out of your way to demonstrate that you do not believe it.

Means what?
That political correctness is the path to sanctification?

Bp. Spong wore vestments in TEC for decades, and what did that prove? His Twelve Theses denied every cardinal doctrine of Christianity.
