Is it on point to ask why Ruberto made this whole thing secret in the first place? Why would Bianchi give away 100 grand? for no reason? What are you trying to say?
And where were Krol and Lothrop when Ruberto was dealing under the table? They kept their mouths shut because they were on his team. Now that Marchetti lost the election they are chewing sour grapes and playing dirty pool. Their concerns for ethical behavior seems very selective don't you think? Are they really that ignorant that they are being used as pawns? They will be discarded once they have done their dirty deeds.
If I had to choose, on the question of their concern for ethical behavior I would be more inclined towards nonexistent rather than very selective..........

Yah, let me see, I must have that 5 month old issue right here somewhere. Probably in the bathroom with the March issue of Consumer Reports.

It's the March 17,2011 issue not the 2012 issue. It had to do with the council voting on a position at the city council meetings on February 22, 2011 and again on March 8,2011. Attorney Dohoney's "opinion" on the issue. You could ask Ms. Mazzeo about it. I'd be surprised if she doesn't remember it, well. It makes me wonder how in the world Peter Marchetti would be selected as a member of the charter committee.

Because he is a good old boy like most of the others on that committee. You don't think Bianchi is running this city do you? There are a bunch of people with power in this city who are not so much interested in the welfare of the city but more interested in how much they can squeeze out of it. With taxes 25% higher than they need to be that leaves a lot of money to pay friends for unnecessary make work projects. No where is it more evident than the GOB controlled school dept. Their budget could be cut in half and the children would not be affected. Of course that is if you had responsible school committee members whose concern was for the children and not themselves.

These three dysfunctional stooges would not have the guts to confront this issue individually but have brass balls when they are in a pack. Where were Krol and Lothrop when Ruberto was late with information or never had it at all? They were not so tough then were they? Little boys in a sand box...that is what I see.
Someone invited the bullies to the sand box last night. It looks like lothrop the Monster is teaching Yon the witch some of the dirty games they play at DCF, and she appears to be a quick learner. See Lothrop go, Go Lothrop, go Yon, go Krol the troll and go trolls Clairmont and Sherman, go to HELL, go to HELL all of you.

Jimmy Ruberto had multiple "ethics" violations when he was Mayor of Pittsfield for 8 years. He had Andrea Nuciforo swear him into his third-term in early-2008. He nominated Carmen Massimiano to chair the licensing board. His campaign advisor was Angelo Stracuzzi. Jimmy Ruberto is a Good Old Boy network politician who took orders from the Pittsfield political machine.
Dan Bianchi has integrity and the Good Old Boys don't like him.
And did Lothrop, Krol, Sherman and Yon demand a 'no confidence' vote?

the school dept. and the teachers. Taxes 25% higher than they need to be with a surplus of $256,389 going to the teachers who don't want to be told what to teach and how to teach it. What a bunch of winners! No wonder some people don't pay their taxes of somewhere between $2 and $5 million dollars, if those amounts even true.

I know it's not, well actually I don't it's not somewhere between $2 and $5 million dollars but even a half a million dollars is still a half a million dollars. You would think someone would have wanted it back. But then again this is Pittsfield where some people can get drunk or not and plow into an innocent man out walking his dog and leave him laying in the road blooded, unconscious with a broken neck and a tramatic brain injury, almost kill someone. And where a pillar of the community can go on a road trip to solicite young underage boys for sex and for more than five years no one says a word about as he's allowed to greet and grins lasciviously as other pillars of the community keep his dark deprayed lifestyle a secret. And where Mr. Sticky Fingers(certain issues) amount undisclosed can appearently evade prosecution.

And someday maybe there'll be a trial and someone will pay for the grisly murders of three men. But then again, this is Pittsfield. So I wouldn't bet on it.

I don't believe there was a satifactory resolution to the issue of whether or not anyone was misled, or not,and who was or wasn't guilty of misleading anyone or on the Spectrum issue or the misleading, misleading issue or the no confidence issue or the violations of open meeting law issue or the alleged water dept. theft issue of allegedly a half a million dollars or the appointment of Yon's ugly husband to a city position issue or the most generous tax givaways in the city's history to Joyce and Larry of Spice fame or whether or not there was or continues to be a cover up in the PPD involving law enforcement officers dealing drugs issue or whether the SRT is a scam with some officers feeding at the public trough with massive amounts of OT and whether it's just a toy for little black Rambo to play dress up in and the issue of why little black Rambo needs a $300,000 SRT military vehicle with battering ram that can be driven right up to your front door.

Good News, Shaker Village, a recipient of Pittsfield's generous generosity of a $250,000 gift no longer has to fulfill it's part of the original bargain. But listen, all is not lost, Pittsfield did get paint chips from the Springside house analyzed so that if Pittsfield ever gets around to restoring the Springside house to it's former glory we'll have those $250,000 analyzed paint chips to refer to. And in other news, the Chungs of Spice fame who were also showered with tax subsidizes has are returning to Pittsfield. I hope someone let them know the new mayor has money for businesses that have proven themselves to be a worthy cause.
