Excellent news. Here's hoping that Klipper Kingz is a step toward a revitalized Eagle St.

Just assume because they are black that they sell crack or other drugs , what a racist and bias thing to say...You probably didn't vote for Obama because he is 1/2 black ...as long as ignorant people like you exist then so will racism. I wish these gentleman the very best of luck...and by the way ..I am white, although I don't usually describe myself by color first. There is truly only one race...and that is the human race, although people like you make it look bad.

So Floyd, if it didn't say what color they were in the article, would you be saying something different? Typical north county attitude

Why did the paper state whether they were black or white anyway, because Obama is president? Give me a friggin' dog gone break.

I'm white too! It's about time for people to stop talking about the color of the skin.

I have personally known Chris for about 16 years. He is a super nice guy, sweet and genuine. I'm not surprised at all by his desire to help the community. Good luck to you Chris and to your partners. It was great bumping into you in Walmart the other night.

Read the article in the Transcript and then read this article from the Berkshire Eagle and see if you can make any connections to the two stories.
I can only hope that you stay in Troy...which by the way most of the garbage you speak about, comes from. These men worked hard to get where they are...they are not bums..and to assume they are because of color just makes you sound like white trash. It doesn't matter what color or religion you are there are bad people of every race and color and there are good people too. Start judging people for their actions...not their pigmentation... you ignorant piece of fecal matter.

No mention of race. Only the fact that one of the largest cocaine operations in Berkshire County was run out of Legends barber shop, where one of the owners of Klipper Kings happened to be employed.

sounds like an outpost. they said if you just want a haircut, "don't come". only go if you got 25 minuted to "chill". whatever that means. sounds like code to me. then they compared themselves to obama by virtue of being the first blacks to open a barber shop in north adams. quite an accomplishment i must admit. and is the barbershop business that profitable to justify coming all the way from pittsfield for $10 haircuts occasionally? the legends connection is interesting. maybe he was so engrossed in his hairstyling and mousse that he didnt notice the largest cociane operation going on around him.

I hope they do very well! Any time a new business starts in NA, it's a good thing. However, I have to say that trying to "cash in" by using our new president's name is a little tacky.

jacks is better by far, the hot dog ranch has mini-weinies,and sounds like a gay night-club(not that there's anything wrong with being a gay night-club) it might lead to confusion among new patrons.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Capricorn

You're keen to look on the bright side of things and to ignore anything unpleasant or worrying. That's fine, provided that you're ready to face up to life's difficulties again tomorrow. But it's not such good news if you persist in looking the other way whenever a problem presents itself, especially if it's connected with your work or health. It may be time to face a few facts, Capricorn.
