For someone who has never been to one of their games, nor have I ever watched one nor listened to one, nor do I care to, I consider myself one of their biggest fans!

Never seen a game in my life but it is good to hear that at least one MN pro team is trying to build a contender. Take note Vikings, Wolves, Wilde, and yes....Twins. My money says the Lynx win a trophy before any of the other 4 major pro teams.

AAU girls basketball draws big crowds starting in April and going through August. Girls basketball knows her and the crowd wont be as big as a Twins game, but alot of young girls will go to watch her play. Not only is she a local, she plays with alot of flash.

There are only 52 weekends a year, get out of your house and experience something new! Before you know it, you will have nothing but negative to talk about if you stay stuck in your safe house.

I've coached many sports, boys and girls, including girls basketball. I can honestly say, Girls Basketball is easily the worst to watch. Well maybe soccer.

Maroon and Gold in Wisc Is abviously a freaking joke . If you really did coach it's probably cause you sat the bench for any sport you played . No playing time = a loser trying to still live his dream through negativity at others who make it in what you could never !
Congrats Angel ...

You are completely wrong. I am still coaching, actively played, wasn't a benchwarmer, ever. Just because I say Women's Basketball is terrible(and yes I coached it), you slam me? You're the freaking joke. Women's hockey, ok to watch. Women softball ok to watch. Womens Volleyball, at least the upper levels, is ok to watch. If women's basketball is so great, why do they need to use the same size ball as your 6th grade boys? Because it is a terrible sport. Do you realize what Wayzeta High School boys team would do against the Lynx? It wouldn't even be close. You're the joke. The Lynx's draft had one 5'8" and one 5'9" inch player. Neither would have started at Wayzeta. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Enjoy your summers inside watching the Lynx, I'll be outside .

You F'n fool. Your average High School boys team would take down any WNBA team. Especially if they got to use the smaller ball. You probably are laughing your a** off, with a straight jacket on in you little padded cell. What a goof.. And as extremely stupid I.D. you've chosen.

Well one thing you have right Maroon & Gold is that Wayzata is a very average hoop team. But I dought your average or above average boys team could handle a WNBA team . Especialy because of the size of the ball . Do you know most of the women in the WNBA play against men in the off season !? Alot of them play in the NBA fundamental league .

As a Saint Paul School district employee, I have seen the stellar player that Angel is as well as watched what an impact she has on team cohesiveness. Central High School girls basketball, under the great coaching ability of Willie Taylor, is a treat to see in action. Angel comes from a wonderful family and will become a beautiful, positive role model for our children. Shame on some of the people posting comments that you are so negative in life.
