What is there to cheer about? Endless hour upon endless hour of commercial hype infrequently punctuated by moments of atheletic competition? No, thank you.

When curling has become the most exciting sport to watch, you know something is wrong, eh?(Little Canadian lingo there.)

Is it not past time to do away with the Olympics -- at least in their current iteration?

PS: Who in recent years is to credit for making the Olympics profitable? Would The Reporter support that person should he or she become a presidential candidate, I wonder?

Can't get into the Winter Games, good thing I don't watch much on NBC. It would mess up my fine quality T.V. watching.

Don't know anything about "The Biggest Loser." That wouldn't be Obama's biography, would it? What is "Project Runway?" I guess Pat watches a lot of network TV.

I watch for the opening performance and the intense feeling of unity with the world. The opening performance was the most beautiful thing and would have moved me to tears if it weren't for the retarded reporters talking over it!

The Opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics is the only time I can sit still long enough to watch TV anymore. I was certainly not disappointed tonight! One of the best yet!!!
