This is in fact a tragedy for your cousin. There's no question about that. What the adults with teenagers and children are concerned with are their children and what if anything may have contributed to his injury. What can be learned? If it was truly an accident that being more cautious is the best way to prevent a repeat of this accident.
It's puzzling you would bring up his families "Reputation" in your response. I will not speculate on a public forum what that might be. Every time a teenager or young family member makes a comment about your cousins accident you are unknowingly feeding the very flame you think is being extinguished by typing something.
I will suggest once again you kids direct your concerns at your cousin getting better and not try and explain anything on a volatile forum like this.
I had heard of this accident and read all the comments.I agee with this comment{itoldyouso). People have made speculations as to him drinking that night. The family is defending him which would be expected. Then another comes and feeds information which causes more negative feedback. If in fact he was drinking it may have been a bad choice to go sledding in the dark. There are not many places in Imperial to sleigh ride. Most of the terrain is very rough. I can see just wanting to have a good time but an accident happened hopefully he pulls through and has a good recovery.

I Would like to say I know the family and Tony is like all kids that age, He is a good kid not into trouble or his dad or mom for that matter. And rather then criticize him, any decent human being would be praying for a full recovery.
The negative comments made just shows how in humane and horrible a person can really be I am glad I dont know you
You are and ugly person and I feel so sorry for the miserey you have in your life.
Maybe you need to put GOD in your life

OMG said a mouthful when they commented about your parents going on Television and telling their business. Looking at your mom's teeth she has a bad case of meth mouth and must be meth addict. Your dad has sores on his face and is real skinny so he must be one 2. With two derelicts like that it's not surprising your brother was trying to get his GED. Some role models they are, a couple of losers!
You dont know these people and how dare you be so judge mental
like that about them not everyone was born with a silver spoon in their mouth... and may you be judged at the pearlie white gates may god return the favor for the ugly comments made by you

I do have to say I'm agood friend of the family myself and wheather or not theres been drinking involved or whatever the case was accidents happen and theres nothing anyone can do but to pray and have everyone pray for them in time of need like its been said hes 18 hes a grown man you can preach to them teens until your blue in the face wether they take the advice or not is up to them.sledding is a fun sport when it comes to snow so theres not much more to do when you have snow unless you got a foot then you can make tunnels in the snow or make angels, but you can make angels in just about any type of snow.

Glad to hear he is doing better. He will be in my prayers.

I do understand head injuries and how serious they are. Stop and think. Every time you hit your head, you are a risk for brain injury. Until it happen to my husband I wouldn't think of the danger in sledding, climbing etc. Now I have better foresight on the dangers and how important to protect the head. Parents protect your childs head with a helmet if they are riding a bike, skating etc.

OMG made a great observation. WHAT? If intoxicants were involved that IS an issue. Sledding while under the influence is an avoidable cause of injury. Being impared is not the best choice when doing something hazardous.

Tony is a strong man and i truly believe he will recover fully. All the people writting negative things on here I hope nothing like this EVER happens to anybody you know and love because then you will realize how serious and concerning this is to most of you it is just a place to gossip and talk shit on a family that needs nothing but positive thinking and prayers in there lives.

Because many of us have children and are concerned about them. By the way, the word is spelled business not bisness.

Lisa and Tony are great parents and know what hes doing almost all the time!! If you dont have that kind of relationship woth your kid then maybe its bc you dont take that extra step to be involved...and maybe its because your to busy being in others bussiness....As for Lisa Papa tony and Lil Tony yous are in our paryers and hearts...Hope he gets well soon!!!!KT AND KEV

.

It would be a good idea for you to read my comment a bit closer. At no time was an acusation made on my part. The operative word in my comment is 'IF'! In a court of law, the word 'IF' has been determined to be a word that does no imply fact rather possibilty.

Your concern should be directed toward the person I was responding to. Their comment brought the possibilty of a intoxicant into the conversation.

There's not much difference between drinking and driving a car, boat, snowmobile, aircraft or operating a snow sled.

MADD exists because of the number of lives lost due to drunk driving. You have just admitted to sledding while drinking. To date you have been very lucky.

We can only hope you don't drink and drive. Other people will be at risk if you do.

By the way, cursing is a sign of a limited vocabulary.
