Nice article however one correction. It's "termination dust" not "terminal dust" and the snow arrives in August not September. Being a New England native now residing in Alaska I've seen the amazing beauty of tapestry colored tundra covered with white termination dust on early August mornings. I thought nothing could beat the New England fall foliage until I saw brilliance of color on Alaska's tundra. Hundreds of miles of amazing beauty that is truly breathtaking.

I loved reading the account of Wes in his new home. Brian was in the class with Mrs. Norman. She is a lovely lady and, obviously, a fantastic teacher. I remember how Brian, his wife, Kristin and Wes spent the 2000 New Year in Montreal. Thanks for sharing your story. You have an interesting son with a wonderful sense of adventure.
