Canadian adventure company slaughters 100 dogs when post-Olympics business fades

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - The 100 dogs were shot dead over two days after an expected post-Olympics boom in dogsledding business at an adventure company didn't pan out.

They do everyday. It just shows you how sick some people are. Had I been there, the urge to blow the front of his skull off would have been tough to ignore.

That is appalling. I am always amazed at what humans are capable of doing in the name of greed. The poor innocent dogs. Sickening.

To say the least I hope their business never recovers from this information and folds. I suppose it would be hoping too much to see this oxygen thief lose the remaining dogs and be run out of town.
I went out their website, they proudly proclaim "the puppies want to play with you!". Sickening in retrospect.

The Canucks should investigate this company for tax fraud as well, just in case he put these 100 dogs down as a tax loss.

Farmers regularly send their animals to be slaughtered....especialy driven by market forces....Market high sell....Market to low....sell quickly and get out. What makes the business decision here any different?

Are some mammals less "human" than others?

BTW...many slaughter houses use a bullet between the eyes to slaughter...it is humane.
