Wrong. If you listened to the testimony at the hearing there were quite a number of items that were confiscated from people unrelated to criminal activity and where no charges were ever filed.
In fact in over 200 cases, they didn't even let the person contest the confiscation of property, despite their legal right to do so.
Leave the cops alone? When they start following the law I'll leave them alone.
