And we also don't have any homeless or crime or any of the other nasty things that those other towns have. And next week we change the name of the town from New Milford to Nirvana... If Galante had offered the people of New Milford a stadium like New Fairfield got, the town would have jumped at the opportunity. Enjoy your naivety

A new road would be built and no one else should be allowed into town. You are living in another world. We already have plenty of white trash toothless, street walking druggy losers left over. The new entertainment and cultural venues hopefully will drive the rest of these losers out of town. We want the town to resemble New Cannan and Darien, which is what the town is going to become, not a trash town like Waterbury and Torrington.

Theres nothing wrong with Torrington its ALOT cheaper than NM.. I see lots of NM people in Torrington. Drugs are in all towns its part of life if your smart you choose to not be part of the druggue life.. NM will never be like DARIEN lots $$$ there. Funny how lots of people are getting out of NM. I can not buy a home for over $400,000 that needs work.

Back to my last sarcastic comment= I'm not knocking Torrington or towns like it. My point I was trying to make was no one can have to best of 2 worlds. New Milford is what it is, we are at the crossroads. We have to choose wisely and plan ahead. I feel for the older folks who cant farm and families want nothing to do with it. How they may fall behind in taxes.What do they do, sell to condo builders or stores? Who do we want living next to us rehab units or a "green" company? We have to take a stand ALL OF US who want New Milford to grow in the right direction. Just not DOWN !
