39 year wait for the Cup and Boston fans were loyal all along. Jackets supposed fans seem to think an annual parade should have been held along High Street for after all,we've been in existence for 10 WHOLE YEARS. If you don't have patience for hockey, find another sport and quit making stupid comments on here.

I like the article, although I don't get the animosity for Boston fans. But then again I love the city. I don't think everyone expects an annual parade. One playoff win would satisfy a lot of people. Just imagine winning a 7 game series!! Winning a division or confence would be a dream. The cup? Probably not in my lifetime if the team even makes it here. The average fan will keep the faith if progress is seen. Its really never been seen with the Jackets. We've had two seasons where we came together and played above our heads, but we've never had a playoff worthy team. It shouldn't take more than 10 years. And we're clearly still years away even if we hope to finally have a decent draft.

I'm curious as to just how Bruins fans were any more/less loyal than CBJ fans have been, the past ten years. Bruins' attendance was similar to recent CBJ numbers, as late as a few short years ago. And Boston sports fans were certainly no less vocal in their displeasure during that stretch.

Seems like a manufactured grievance, if you ask me.
