Ozzy Osbourne. Ozzy Osbourne has confirmed new song Latimer's Mercy was inspired by a real-life farmer who killed his suffering daughter in 1993.

I'd really like to find the lyrics because I hope he has shown some understanding of why this event happened. He did not kill his daughter because she was handicapped as some have suggested. He killed her because she was suffering, the treatment wasn't doing any good, was increasing her pain and because there was no hope of improvement.
