German industrial conglomerate Siemens AG said Thursday it had acquired Israeli solar power company Solel Solar Systems Ltd for about US $418 million.

Shame on Solel for selling out to the corrupt German company Siemens! Just look up Siemens and corruption on the internet - they are synonymous. Not only that, they collaborated with the Nazis and used Jewish slave labor during the war.

How could an Israeli company sell out to such 'shysters' for a few measly shekels!? Why no outrage on the part of Israelis? Doesn't make Israel look very high minded or sensitive to victims of the Holocaust. Seems like the "gelt" was the first consideration (not helpful in dispelling stereotypes). Such a shame - Israel could have used the opportunity to tell the corrupt, Nazi collaborating, Siemens to just take a hike.
