Critics blast Obama's stand against Fox News as 'Nixonian'

President Barack Obama's stand against Fox News and other organizations viewed as hostile to his administration is being roundly derided as "Nixonian" by critics that include political pundits, journalists and legislators who remember Richard Nixon's paranoid and divisive presidency.

Interesting how Fox News has to always shout, interrupt and be a bully yet msnbc, talks calmly, has done real research. Bullies always yell and try to keep the real truth from coming thru. I am a former Fox News watcher but became ashamed of it after Glenn Beck brought his insanity to the mix. He makes more since when he's drunk. Reminds me of Jim Jones leading less than smart people to do stupid things.

Obama is really showing his true self these days.
I am glad the media is taking a stand against him. I don't watch Fox news that often, but for ABM to try to control the media is horrendous. I think America made a huge mistake in voting Obama, it's too bad we didn't have 2 better candidates to choose from. I hope the next election has better candidates on both sides.

..I dont sway to either side..but the fact that they have to keep saying fair and balanced is straight phycology 101 level. If anyone ever rubbed vicks rub under their eyes I would trun in a sec. A perfect example of liberal media bias occurred on Sunday's "Meet the Press" when host David Gregory absolutely hammered Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) over what the Bush administration did in Afghanistan.

This occurred only a few moments after Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) made absurd comments about the current budget deficit without receiving any challenge whatsoever from Gregory.
