I would because they are showing the world that you can be moral, family oriented, and a nice person yet still succeed in this world. I support that.

Ignorant "christains"! try reading the Bible !! Everyone in the Bible drank wine - including Jesus. Paul reccommended it "Drink a little wine for thy stomach and many infirmities" Whiskey is strong drink. It amazes me how ignorant so called christains are of the Bible.. Try reading the entire thing.

ignorant hetherns! Need to not only read the bible but understand it..take it as a whole. The least a jew would cut wine was 4to 1,, that's 1 part wine 4 parts water..when paul told timothy to take wine for his stomach, becuase timothy was in a city to where the water was bad due to no sanitation, READ IT, JESUS DID NOT TAKE OF THE CUP...just think before you speak, wine is a mocker, it amazes me how ignorant a sinner can be..but the bible does say, their god has them blinded..(notice little g)..that stands for satan..aka..your god

Jesus turned the water into wine for his first miracle. It was for a wedding PARTY.

“Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
AFTER THE GUEST HAVE HAD TO MUCH TO DRINK

obviously the wine was not cut - which is obvious also when Lot had so much to drink that he had sex with his two daughters and did not remember it.

30 Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave. 31 One day the older daughter said to the younger,“Our father is old, and there is no man around here to give us children—as is the custom all over the earth. 32 Let’s get our father to drink wine and then sleep with him and preserve our family line through our father.”

33 That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and slept with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.

34 The next day the older daughter said to the younger,“Last night I slept with my father. Let’s get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and sleep with him so we can preserve our family line through our father.” 35 So they got their father to drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went in and slept with him. Again he was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.

36 So both of Lot’s daughters became pregnant by their father.

Cutting the wine is what YOU say not what the word of GOD says.

Mt 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

Lu 7:34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!

And Jesus was falsely accused of being a winebibber, notice it says,“They say & ye say” & some read that passage & go away calling Jesus a winebibber deceiving them self, they drink both wine & strong dink, they err in vision, they stumble in judgment, while causing many others to as well.

2Pe 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
2Pe 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

Wow, & some use Lot as an example that its OK to drink wine, like Lot, they to will vex their soul from day to day.

No the Robertsons r not going to hell for the wine. The Church they attend and the Christian view on it is to substain from alcohol. They r showing the world the high morals they have and how coming together at the table pray before u eat keep God in ur life. It is disappointing but everyone has downfalls they r only human.

Do you go to church with them? No I don't think the wine deal is going to send them to hell but I am also little disappointment in them. They have the chance to reach thousands for Christ and I would hate this wine deal to hinder that. I think if may have disappointed a lot of people. They are human and we ALL make mistakes. I think they could have done without the wine deal by all means. They didn't need the added income and it just caused them to lose a bit of their chance to reach some. They are a fine family and we all learn from our mistakes. If God doesn't agree with the wine deal I believe he can put a stop to it.
