Not a lot of terror in madeira (a bit too insular for that).
There were some remarkable mudflows in the kaolinite & smectite clay rich soil during heavy rain a couple of years ago that may qualify for that tag though.
Big floods & mudflows in winter thunderstorms are best viewed from an upstairs window with a glass of wine in hand.
