Texas wine country a rising lone star
#1 Jul 1, 2009
France has its casual wineries too! I visited a little village in the Sancerre appellation where the "doorbell" was a barking terrier and the winemaker wore green overalls. After we finished one generous pour of his wine, he poured us more just to keep chatting with us. Country charms aren't unique to America.
