I was Greatly looking forward to the new album what with Rubin involved but after hearing the new single it's just the same Rubbish that's been on the last 5 albums .

I 've always loved this band and Gibbons is my Favourite guitarists but saying this is like tres hombres and and eliminator is just wrong

Also what's with all this voice affecting stuff ?

Why can't they just go into the studio and lay it down like they did on tres hombres and if they cant write a decent song find someone who can not difficult !

Right that's it i'm off to listen to Rio grande mud

I thought that Rick Rubin wasn`t the right man for zz top. I just wonder how it could be if Jack White would do some music with zz top. and I think that Black Keys haven`t been there when zz top did "flying high". I can`t believe that zz tops are too old to rock'n'roll. I saw zz top on the stage on last summer and man....they were so awesome. Brown sugar, Just got paid, Sharp dressed man, Party on the patio, etc. And Mescalero wasnt so bad album they used to say. There were lot of good zz standards like Mescaler, Piece, Crunchy etc...I still hope the best for the new album...

From Antenna to Mescalero...ZZ has been keeping it fresh. I would like to see a show where I did not hear the classics and a bunch of the new music which is great. Such as "Lizard Life" "Rythmeen" "What it is Kid" "Belt Buckle (old school)" and so much more.

After 30+ years playing the same song every show would get to me. They have always done a great job moving forward and keeping it fresh. I love the old stuff when I want to get down and bluesy...the new is a good groove. I have been waiting since Mescalero for a new album and sit and wait, and wait, wait...

Jack White would be an interesting producer for them.

All in all I have seen them 13 times...and will be there for the next show.
