What is the cost of all this and can we afford it? That's what average people are asking themselves, so why can't our government?

What happened to the "shared sacrificed" this idiot of a president talked about? The egg roll should go on, but to make it larger and grander, and more expensive, is not right during this time. I guess "shared sacrifice" does not include Obama, just the fools that elected him. Keep partying it up, I'm sure you feel our pain, a la Bill Clinton. 50 parties in 60 days, awesome, keep living it up George and Weezy. I am not saying not to have social events, but cut them down and scale them back, you are nothing by a two-faced lying hypocrite if this is shared sacrifice.

You are a terribly depressing person. It is pitiful that reside in such a dark and unhappy place.

By the way, who are George and Weezy?

The answer will tell us much about you.

Looks like the White House has become Party Central. Does anyone do any work around there...I mean REAL work?

If they cancelled the egg hunt, you'd say the administration was being negative. When they make it bigger to include more people, you say they are wasting money. Pick a side. This constant movement from one side to another is just exhausting.

This is the guy who flew in someone from St. Louis to make him a pizza. Why is it a surprise that he'd make the Easter Egg Roll event the grandest ever?

I believe the terribly depressed person is you. You found another message to come onto and try to impress those on here? Is your ego that inflated? Are your two friends tired of you and your stories? Come on, tell us again how that you probably pay more in taxes than most anybody on this board, probably even the president himself. Tell us how successful you are, please, after spending many hours, and still on again today - yes, please to tell. Whatever it takes to help your fragile state of mind, please do it on these boards. Please try to impress us again.

The dark and unhappy place is in the mind of somebody who feels the need to come onto an anonymous message board and respond, in most part, not to the message itself, rather about oneself. I guess that happens when those around you can't tolerate you anymore. If this doesn't work, you can always jump out of a window. Good luck.
