And what good is it to even waste ur money on buying a ticket when the members can get their tickets 4 days b4 they go on sale to the public? Save ur money.
Never went to Musikfest, never wanted to. Still don't. Heard the food & drink prices are very high. Just a big money racket anyway.

All the people on the card were performing before I was born (except Joan Osborne, who sucks anyway). Maybe my grandparents will get tickets.

Musikfest is a joke.
Almost all of the bands stink.
Meatloaf, lol comeon can't you people book good bands? Meat is a one hit wonder.

BB king is okay, but I wouldn't pay to see him play or any of the bands booked this year.

they can't book big bands most likely cuz they are too cheap, it is better to go to musikfest just to get out and walk around and then watch as every hour the crowds get drunker

You people are pretty sad. BB King is the LAST of the real blues guitar men left in the world. When he dies, much of the blues die with him. I'd much sooner pay big bucks to see him than to see some fly-by-night pop band that will barely be a memory in 3 years.

As for the level of talent at Musikfest - they are stifled by the conglomerates like Clear Channel that buy up all the big venues and acts, making it impossible for festivals that aren't "Clear Channel" to even attempt to book a "current" act. It's not their fault - it's the old Ma Bell rule.

I'll wait for gaming to come in before I attend Musikfest. Main Street is a time bomb waiting to go off. At least the crooks behind gaming will protect the innocent people of Bethlehem so they can legally steal your money. It worked in Las Vegas in the good old days. It will work here for a little while and then fall into depravity like all the other big cities.

Yep turned it into Bethlehem's joke of the music seen and called it as such just to have a food & beer drinking festival who's prices are out ragious.
Grew up there and walked my kids down when it was free, music wise anyway. And it was nice when it started, but of course as everything in Bethlehem they ruined it. Money money money.
Then you have to worry about laving intoxicated. So it pays in more ways then 1 not to drink there also. Got to big for it's briches.

Meat Loaf and B.B. King. By the time these acts get here they are over the hill in shows. Street singers are better acts than the so called main attractions.

Nice job of talking out of your butt. 99% of musicfest is free. It was never 100% free. There are at least 10 stages where all the acts are free. I guess it isn't your fault most LV residents are cheap. It is funny that you complain about overpriced food but not the expensive beer. Then you talk about worrying about leaving intoxicated. I see where your priorities are

"Joke of a music scene" I take issue with that. Bethlehem is where the scene is. Go to the Wildflower or the Funhouse!

$44 is nothing to see good quality entertainment. You dumb dutchies just keep shopping at K-Mart and stay away!

BB King amd Etta James is going to be an amazing show. Joan Osborne is very talented and she did a great job a few years ago singing for the Grateful Dead minus the late Jerry Garcia. Keep in mind Im not a Dead head but I do like some of their music as long as it does'nt go off into some pointless meandering jam. Im not familiar with Yellowjacket. The only joke is Meatloaf but those big 200 pound housewives with their Nascar shirt wearing husbands will come out in droves.

I lived up the street when it started for years. The big name first several big name bands were for free as far as for entertainment.

You could walk in and watch any of them. Then they got greedy and put up partitions, and finally moved it out back where it is now.

They should have kept it on the colage stage as was.
And as for being cheap, they always made enough money off it. They didn't need to charge for concerts they already rob the consessions stands for food money.

And besides the locals deserve the free entertainment for putting up with all you disrespectful people coming to our neighborhoods.

Parking, garbage, late night noise. I know let's put it in your back yard. Then we can all go ast your house intoxicated checking out your stuff.

Oh and never bought their beer either. Took my children down.

Do you think you are the only one who lived in Bethlehem? I used to live right on W. Union Blvd. I would take vacation during Musikfest. It was great just walk around all week listening to different shows eating different kinds of food and yes you are cheap
