Good for Tanglewood ! Interestingly, I recently saw Keith Emerson & Greg Lake perform and they said that THEY were Rock's First Supergroup too. When I look at history, I think of Cream for that title.

WHO cares!!!! This area is drying up . Even the NYC crowd is fading fast and the So. Berkshire group are aging and are NON supportive. Just a fact of life in these times. I lived there in the late sixties when there were 15/16 thousand at an event--no more -- so quit wishing.

I think you are correct. The wiki says 1970 for ELP. I think Cream was 67 or 68.

Who in their right mind would go to a concert where buffoons with elbow patches on their sweaters sip wine and chew cheese? I'll go where the working class goes, thanks.

Are you for real? elbow patches - what the hell year were you born in? Chew cheese - you don't eat cheese? What do you eat- rats from your cellar? The working class? Do you work at Mcdonald's and you can't afford it?

I grew up in the Berkshires and people tell me there are people like you that live there and I tell them that I seriously did not know people like you. But I guess people like you really do live there - where I do not know. I would recommend you please stay in your tent or your shack because we don't want to see your unsophisticated ass at Tanglewood anyway.

I'll see Herbie and I may even score some weed, sit on the lawn and check out CSN. Not bad at all T'wood.

Half the fun (maybe 3/4's of the fun)is being able to sip wine and eat cheese at a Tanglewood concert.
(I know the authorities frown upon drinking those Colt 40's at the Live on the Lake. If you tie them over the side of the bassmaster, they stay out of sight and stay cold! Just saying...)
I'll go to CSN, with friends, and we'll have a good time.
Cheerio! Gotta go drop off my tweeds at the tailors to get new suede patches sewn on.

Look at their replies, mate. They have proven you right.

But you're approaching it wrong. Instead of staying away, gather up a large group of friends (preferably black people) and sit right next to them while loudly enjoying the concert. They will shlt their pants!

The 70's and 80's called they want their acts back.
The Berkshire's dying a painful death for lack of anything interesting to do.

Well, to be fair, these acts are edgy for Tanglewood considering most of the music featured is by dead old men anyway. This is a change! These are old men are near death, but at least breathing!

Bring Phish to town. Not only are they the best live band going, but having 25,000 people come to town for two days would boost the economy soooooo much.

And it would make the Berkshires not lame. Yeah Trey, shred!

I bet you were at the Tea Party in Pittsfield today, weren't you? Or are you an intolerant liberal? Either way, you're a piece of sheet.

Too bad for you that I touched a nerve. Keep your racist, elite attitude down there in the South Berkshires along with your New York City friends.

Punk.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Aries

Keep a firm grip on your money today to avoid anyone else getting their mitts on it. If you're out in public you should keep your wallet or bag clamped to your side, just in case it goes walkabout. You should also make sure you check any bills and invoices that you're given, in case they contain a mistake. It's a day when errors and deceptions are highly likely.
