Perfect, he will fit right in with the other haitian rulers who stole from their own people for their own personal wealth. Do your research on this guy and he is not what he portrays himself to be.

Haiti is not a record label that would be a bad idea, besides being a hip hop artiste what's his background?

I agree.

He is an oppurtunist.

This is really dangerous for him, i might add.

There will be a lot of resentment against this guy in the long run!

His M.O is transparent.

This is NOT helping the country at at all.

OK ! Nobody had a problem when Arnold Schwarzenegger became Governor of California- so Why are people having problems when Wyclef decides he wants to become president of Haiti ??? I think some of the people that are leaving negative comments are just people who have nothing better to do with their lives !

This is America.

We ALL have a right to our opinion.

How old are you?. You sound juvenile in your criticism.

Do you really think that Wycleaf can make a diffrence???

Give me a break.

Haiti does not need any shows. It is a difficult place. The country is in ICU status.

It has been for a LONG time.

I am not anti -Hatian. Quite the contrary.

However, Haiti does NOT need this "dog and pony" show.

A people deserve the leaders they elect. I hope that Wycleaf is NOT permitted to run.

No disrespect meant to you, if you are of Hatian descent.

Peace, TPMP 35

I sound juvenile ??? Keep in mind that you are speaking to an adult- not a toddler . Yes- everyone is entitled to their opinion, however you live in America- why are you critiquing a situation that is taking place in a different country ??? Are you Latin- american ?? If not then you should keep your input to yourself ! Thank You and Have a nice day !

Well I hope that he will continue to help the Hatian ppl, I feel he can do a better job by continuing to be a ambassador, by bringing to light the plight that the Hatians face daily. If he was elected he would be limited in travel, this way he will be able to do benefit concerts to help and not have has many restrictions. At this point every little bit helps, and now that he knows the residency requirements, live there, and keep helping and run at another time....
