Now this is what I like to see entertainers do instead of how they have been doing the last few years.

Too bad the homeless people in our country are ignored. What about the millions without health coverage? What about the ones that have lost jobs and, in turn, everything else because of a bad economy? What about the ones who were financially raped by the moneygrubbing mortgage companies? We're so quick to run and flex our muscle in other countries that we just don't care about our own country.
I am sympathetic to the Haitian people, but I would also love to see some help for our own people. As nasty as it is to say, that earthquake was the best thing to ever happen to Haiti. With all of this money, Haiti will be rebuilt into something it never was in the first place. I know 200,000 people died in the earthquake (and that is heartbreaking), but how many American vets have died in wars? How many Americans have died due to zero health coverage? How many have died from Cancer?
Can't we just refocus even a small portion of this help on our country?

I agree also about taking care of our country. I feel sad such a terrible thing happened to Haiti. But why can't the stars put on a telethon to help the homeless here in the U.S.A.

Giving a million dollars by these "stars" is like the rest of us giving a $100 dollars - no sweat off their backs at 20 million per movie. Besides, it's tax deductible. What a sham! Between them,
they could easily rebuild that country, and fix the U.S.- we donate our money to them when we go to their movies - let them pay it forward.
