Should be an interesting album.

Back to the egg fit in very well with the golden era of punk, maybe Electric arguments will fit in now.

Rock on Sir Paul.

Great post Awc....Thank you , very interesting !!
If this Band has energy and it is sensational - MacCartney words- I haven't heard them until today , I like to hear , see and taste new musical flavors. What I really love of Sir Paul is how he is always open to evaluate, recognize, approve or not and go ahead with any kind of music style.More I read about him more I say to myself and to my friend capa, you never were wrong about him,he's the man can make a fan really rock all her life !!!

There's a great video from the Sex Pistols' documentary Filth and Fury.

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

The Sex Pistols really cleared a wide swath in pop music, and let new styles like New Wave flower. "It doesn't matter whether they can play their instruments well (although many critics contend they were good musicians, many did not), it's the passion that matters."

I don't know what I want, but I know how to get it...Had not Jimi sung the opposite on "Manic Depression?". I know what I want but I don't know how to go about getting it?(Correct me if I didn't write it right). Anyway, "Never Mind the Bollocks" is cool.

Good to know Paul's view on the subject of the early punk movement. To my knowledge Pete Townsend was one of the few who liked it from the start.

. Nagative works too. Nag: 1 : to find fault incessantly : complain 2 : to be a persistent source of annoyance or distraction transitive verb 1 : to irritate by constant scolding or urging 2 : badger , worry .......... Different, but STILL negative.

By the way, this line comes from "Anarchy in the UK". Influenced by Jimi's lyrics on "Manic Depression"(From the album "Are you experienced?". Go out and get it, if you don't have it already, guys).

"Are you experienced?" one of the greatest albums in history.
Jimi was/is the greatest guitarist, he was so unique, his spiritual son Stevie Ray Vaughn learned well from him, and both are together in guitar heaven.
My favorite Hendrix track on Experienced is also my favorite Hendrix track, RED HOUSE.

......."Manic Depression", I've always heard, was written and inspired from Jimi having his guitar(s), along with other equipment being ripped off while on the road. I always thought that he some personal experience with bi-polar disease, but maybe it was both, a trigger of having been violated.
Music, sweet music
I wish I could caress, caress, caress
Manic depression is a frustrating mess

Don't put any undue pressure on yourself, Virgo: if you don't get it right the first time, you know there'll be another chance.
