you bring up a specific that a happened to you regarding affirmative action. now multiply that by 1000, 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000 for black people and other people of color that didn't get a shot at decent employment, for no reason, there wasn't a law to protect them, and make the playing field level. it was just white men mostly, simply stating no, we don't hire N-----s!!!

you say you were drafted and forced into "slave labor" for the military, i agree, but you also have to remember people of color were volunteering in far larger numbers than white men of the time simply because many times that was the only economic option they had, a position that you've all ready stated was slave labor.

doesn't that tell you anything? you got passed over, for a job being saved for a black women, does that even up the score in your eyes for the hundreds of years of institutional ethnic cleansing, rape, castration and murder, perpetrated in america, and i'm not even speaking about employment opportunities lost. it doesn't in mine.

Hi there. Elisabeth will NOT come outside her 'little world'. She will NOT change HER thoughts. She will NOT LISTEN to explanations that others are giving her, answers to her own questions because they are NOT what she BELIEVES and wants to hear. Whoopi tried, Sherri tried, Barbara tried. When you so stubbornly will not even LISTEN you get frustrated. Elisabeth cried because well there wasn't much left to do. Just MY thoughts.

Ok thanks for explaining it to me. I've seen a few of the episodes and I knew she was a little sensitive but that is plain crazy. I thought something was wrong with her maybe one of the other co-hosts offended her or something or maybe she had a guilty conscience with the word. That's amazing if she keeps it up they may replace her. The tittle shows me that people are blaming Whoopi for it. Unbelievable.

Hardly unbelievable really. As I've mentioned a lot Elisabeth fits the cute little profile that most still want to see. Whoopi doesn't fit that profile and neither did Rosie O'Donnell. By that I mostly mean that Elisabeth refuses to listen to experience and explanations and to learn that there are other ways other then her own. Whoopi has had experience in 'real' life and should be listened to on certain subjects that often come up. EH doesn't have to change her bliefs but she should shhhhhh and listen - stop arguing constantly.

it was because of frustration over a detail , being black ppl may use the word , and white may not and how would she explain this to her child if it were to repeat the word...

she should do as rosie and kelli and allow her youngsters to watch tv or listen to rap and lte nite stand up comedy..

LOL!! ONLF, we have no enemies! You must be confusing us with someone else - we're well loved around here. BUT I'm thinking Pet took off in that little black outfit she borrowed from Danni so who knows what happened to her. I can't be responisible once someone leaves the safety of my shack - lots of coyotes out on these prairies. Should I put out an APB thingy or will she answer your email??
