Hey.... maybe that is where they got the idea... Just a thought that came thru my pointed Foil Hat before I misplaced it.
The planners also might have thought their hats were made of foil and it really was made of dried dog manure.

The Pennsylvania State Police should find these scammers and pound them into submission.

This is sad because People can not stress enough the facts that this is a scam, yet many people fall victim to it time and time again. If some one does call and says they are a relative that needs money, please verify, if it is a grand child, call the parents to see if they child is out of the country. If the caller is asking for money, ask for a phone number to call back and verify. rest assured they will hang up. Please do not give out any personal info such as SS#, bank accounts or anything. keep safe!!!

It isn't a matter of being lazy its a matter of it being international crime. The people making these calls in case you didn't read the article before you opened your big mouth are coming from Canada and the DR. Last time I checked the PSP do not have jurisdiction in those countries.

My mother-in-law got one of theses scam calls, she lives in West Virginia.

Caller pretended to be my son - her grandson. Supposedly he was involved in an accident in LONDON. When granny said "you don't sound like Zach", he said "it must be the bandages on my face".

Granny don't take no crap and she was positive that Zach was NOT out of the country.

She told him what he could do with his request and hung up.

Go Granny!

If your getting a franklin shopper, there is a gentleman that has an ad for Secret Shopping. He only give his email, and his name is Mark Brown. He wont give you information on the shopping thing, but, if you email, he asks for your information, and after a while, he will overnight you a check from a place in CA. When you google the address its a legit restraunt/grocery store in CA. And my check was supported by IBM. When he sent me my "assignment" He wants the check cashed the day of or day after you rec. the check. My Check he sent was 25510.00$. I have not cashed it. I asked for information about the secret shopping, didn't hear from him for a week and then rec. a check. The assignment he sent me, he wanted all the money but 200$ which was mine, to be sent by western union to some lady in Ohio. My Future Mother in Law sent an email to the guy as well, and her assignment is to go to Walmart and send the money to someone. Now here is the scam.... When he sends the check, he wants it cashed ASAP, and he wants the "assignment" done as soon as possible. A check that size will automatically be put on Hold at the bank. He wants you to go ahead, and send out money you dont have, and then the check will not clear. And then also, by cashing that check, he can get your bank information, and any money you may have in there, he can get access to it. When I had explained to Mark that I worked and could not cash the check, it would have to wait till next week, I got an email back saying that "You can take like 1 hour out of your day to do this assignment it needs to be done soon." Which sends up the final red alert. DO NOT EMAIL THE GUY YOUR INFORMATION, DO NOT EMAIL THE GUY AT ALL> SCAM!

And I don't believe the Police will do anything about it. If they do, you probably had to bribe them with something. My father was in a motorcycle accident, and while he was in a coma, his adopted daughter, and adopted son, wiped his checking acct clean as they forged his name and put him in over 30000$ of checks wrote out. He only had 2500$. The cops have not done anything. No return calls, have not looked into anything. We have the name of who his adopted daughter is staying with, the number and address, and NOTHING has been done. I will start to trust the police with do anything when they actually step up their game and do something for once! and btw, THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY HAVE PROVED ME RIGHT :) fyi

You're right! I hear he has too many problems right now. Is he still being used to train the blond with straight measurements from head to toe? Word is he's being used for simple patrols like sitting along the highway at construction sites with the blues and reds on to warn approaching motorist.
