Wesley Snipes conviction for failing to file tax returns can easily be solved if Obama would just appoint him to a job with his democrat administration. Timothy Geithner, Tom Daschle and Charlie Rangel all have failed to file tax returns and they got a pass from the IRS and democrats. Is Wesley Snipes being denied his 14th Amendment right of equal protection of the laws?

A great one will drag it out forever.

I think Wesley Snipes & Billy Lane will forever be appealing & filing motions. Eventually, they will put such a burden on the legal system that someone will say "forget it" and push it aside.

In Wesley Snipes' case, I predict that some anti-war groups will gather around and applaud him for not giving money to support the war on terror. Then, one day we will honor him as a hero for standing up to the IRS. Forget the fact that there are schools, social programs, and infrastructure projects that need that tax money. Someday, with enough spin, someone will think he's a martyr.

With all that money he was accused of keeping from the IRS....(over 20 million) you think he would've bought his way out,like the rest of them who got caught...ie Willie Nelson and a host of others?? Had he not deny it and tried to work something out with the feds (most likely did)but they wanted too much,so he took his chances in court......
