Reputed slumlord taking over 'Waldorf-Astoria of Brooklyn'
A reputed slumlord who is part of the development team getting slammed over conditions at the moldy, asbestos-laden Chelsea Hotel is taking over the former "Waldorf-Astoria of Brooklyn." Everybody better get their pictures and tours of the Bossert before the Watchtower moves out. Otherwise, you can just look at pictures of how it was before the Watchtower took it over, since that is probably where the new owner will take it now.
Brooklyn Heights will be much the worse for the exit of Jehovah's Witnesses from our neighborhood. The Watchtower has done great things in restoration of buildings in Brooklyn Heights. It will never be the same with them gone.

Everyone has said that when the Watchtower is finally gone,the tax base for property owners will decrease.Some have actually said that the "zombies" will no longer be wandering the streets.
