"I think they realized that they needed to sweep out the barn and get this all out in the light of day," Burns said.

He add that the release also "sends a strong message to their employees that what Sokol did was not the Berkshire Hathaway way of doing things."

No message needed as S u k-hole continuously put out letters to employees reinforcing the core values which stessed, in part, honesty and integrity. Something which he obviously knew nothing about or practiced on a limited basis.

Either way B.H. is just trying to keep the S.E.C. from its books and help D.S. from going to jail. I say let him go to jail like any working stiff would for putting their hands in the cookie jar.

Warren Buffett lost his mind the day he replaced Richard Santulli with this bum, a man who fired a thousand people on 9/11, a man who threatened employees with shutting down the company and created a hostile work environment where there was once a warm family who cared for each other, a man who obviously was interested in protecting his own best interest and couldn't care less about NetJets employees and their families.
The Berkshire Board should relegate Warren Buffett to a figurehead and remove his decision-making responsibility for the company. Then they should crawl on their knees and beg Richard Santulli to come back and de-Solkofy the company and restore the brand by firing Sokol's cronies on the management team and rehiring the aviation titans those fools ran out to solidify their own power.
Any NetJets employee who still defends David Sokol is either a blind sycophant or is trying to secure their position by posturing  silence as support for the current inept leadership team.
Either way, heads should roll because a new sun is rising on Berkshire Hathaway and the rats are scattering from the light.

Didn't Buffett do something similar with his huge investment in Goldman Sachs - had inside information that the Treasury was going to keep it from going under?

Buffett is just another big money liberal who profits from the collusion of Big Business and Big Government.
