"I do not write unpleasant things about Barack Hussein Obama because he is a Democrat, a far-left liberal ideologue, a confirmed liar, or the sock-puppet of whatever cabal that chose him long ago to be the President. I write unpleasant things because he is all of these things, but also because he is the most stupid man to have ever held the office of President.

As far back as January 2, 2010, I wrote that Obama had “an imaginary life” because there was no proof that anything he claimed in his two memoirs, written by the age of 45, was true. His resume listed “community organizer”, an amorphous term that could mean anything, as his primary occupation. By October 2010 the Washington Times published a commentary of mine that said “millions of Americans are beginning to ask: Is President Obama just a moron?”

I think Obama needs to watch the Sunday news shows, even the media who loves him is questioning him.

Chris Wallace:“In the last week the President has made a couple of major speeches and devoted his entire weekend media address to the Buffet Rule. When the President introduced the Buffet Rule last September he said it was a matter of fairness and, and this is the quote,‘we also stabilize our debt and deficits for the next decade.’ But here's the math: the Buffet rule that millionaires should pay a minimum tax of 30 percent would bring in $47 billion,$47 billion over the next decade while the President's budget adds $6.4 trillion to the deficit over the next decade. David, according to one estimate, the money you would get from the Buffet Rule would cover just 17 days of the increased deficit under the Obama budget.”

Obama's man Axelrod tried to talk his way around it but when the President tells a blatant lie like that it is kind of hard to do. I am sure this week he will come up with a way to say that when he said what he said it did not mean what he said but meant something that he did not say and we just did not understand because we are stupid and clinging to our guns and religion and believing in what our 7th grade math teacher taught us about math not what Obama taught us.

Instead of the Buffett Rule, How About the Geithner Rule?

President Obama has now admitted that the “Buffett Rule,” formerly the centerpiece of his re-election campaign, is a silly gimmick that will raise hardly any money for the treasury.(Actually, it might cost the federal government money, as increases in the capital gains rate have been known to do.) So how about if, instead, we start talking about the Geithner Rule, which is: everyone pays what he owes under existing laws?

Start with the fact that as far as we know, Warren Buffett pays all the personal income taxes he owes, as do Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. Unlike these individuals, there are a great many Americans who don’t pay what they owe. The IRS estimates that year in and year out, around 15% of what Americans owe in taxes isn’t paid. This is mostly due to under-reporting of income. For FY 2011, the IRS collected around $2.3 trillion in tax revenue. Fifteen percent of that amount is $345 billion. Here, unlike the Buffett Rule, we are talking about real money.

Most tax evaders don’t wind up in prison. In fact, some wind up working for the government. Take Tim Geithner. Geithner, Obama’s Secretary of the Treasury, is a tax cheat. When he worked for the International Monetary Fund, the fund did not pay withholding taxes on his income, but rather paid Geithner a specifically-designated additional amount which Geithner was supposed to use to pay self-employment taxes. Geithner kept that money, but didn’t pay the taxes....

When the IRS audited Geithner, he paid what he owed for 2003 and 2004. But he didn’t pay what he owed for 2001 and 2002. Why? Because the statute of limitations had run on those years, so the IRS couldn’t sue him to collect the money or charge him criminally for failing to pay it. Only when he was nominated as Secretary of the Treasury did Geithner go back and pay what he owed for 2001 and 2002.

Geithner is not the only tax cheat working in the Obama administration. As Glenn Reynolds has pointed out repeatedly, no fewer than 41 of Obama’s White House aides owe back taxes to the IRS, adding up to $831,000. But they aren’t alone: 638 Congressional staffers owe another $9.3 million, and federal employees, altogether, owe $1 billion in back taxes....

So instead of wasting time on the Buffett Rule, how about if we promote the Geithner Rule, i.e., everyone pays what he owes under existing law. This will certainly promote fairness; is anyone in favor of tax evasion? And, unlike the Buffett Rule, if Tim Geithner, Berkshire Hathaway, Obama’s White House, and everyone else pays what they owe, it will go a long way toward solving the nation’s fiscal crisis.

Yes teabaggers and corporations have to balance their budgets.

Don't you realize that once you break the bank by giving away too much of someone else s money that there will be no room for any of your precious social spending.

Obama has not plans of his ever balancing the budget, not ever. His own projections show the deficit being increased by 7.2 trillion dollars and the CBO is throwing the bull shit flag, CBO says it will be 9.5 trillion.

That is trillion dollar overruns every year for the next 10 years. Just how long does mr bill think we can do this before we run out of money. Or do you simply not believe that is possible.

This is the same spiel of class warfare and envy that the Bolsheviks used to bring down the Rich, businesses and property owners in 1917, which ushered in 70 years of misery under Communism.

Obama's future depends on Class warfare dealing with the ignorant and apathetic -- A philosophy that he aptly learned from his early mentor, Communist, Frank Marshal Davis and the teachings of Saul Alinsky....Wise up!

BTW, this is not a democracy, but a "Representative Constitutional Republic."

Mr. Ryan has not announced his cuts. He just generalized.

What do you call someone who buys a pig-in-a-poke?
A RYAN Budgetr supporter.

I say, cut all Federal funding to states to the same percentage they pay their taxes. What would happen to your state?
See figure 1.1, and 1.3, and see figure 1.2 (if your state does not have a minus, you are on Federal welfare, and your state should give that amount above ZZERO back....fig 1.3; if your state is white color, you would lose your welfare from the black states.
I'd go for that.

But corporations are "balancing their budgets" by legall not paying taxes they should pay by buying votes in congress. really.

Don't you realize that this huge debt all started with Reagan's tax cuts; and "borrow and spend" policy that GW Bush revived?

It don't work.
You can't give huge tax cuts, wage war, and not run up a debt.

The borrowing Obama has done was to fix Bush's broken economy.

Ask Obama nice and he'll give you food stamps since you're having such a terrible time. The Constitution guarantees low prices for everything? Sounds like you want State control of everything and no free enterprise. The debt? Inflated because gwfailure didn't put the cost of his war follies on his books. You're another con fool.

Bush tax cuts cost on average 130 Billion a year . We are looking at trillion dollar budget over runs every year for the next 10 years. You can get rid of the bush tax cuts and add the buffet rule and your still not even close to dealing with 1/3 of the problem and I did not even mention that after 10 years the math gets worse due to the impact of the baby boomers. Spending is the problem not taxes.

I wuz gonna file my taxes, but then I read that 47% of the people, mostly obama voters, don't pay IRS taxes, so I thought I'd join their ranks. Is there an application, or any paperwork I need to fill out?

This is prtially true.

When we address the UNFAIRNESS and CLASS WARFARE against the American middle Class; we can address the spending, if it is still an issue.

You forgot that Clinton balanced the budget in 8 years, following Bush's feable father.
The present White House sees a much greater ruined economy from a much worse Bush.

What we need is 20 years of Democras in FULL control of the House & Senate & White House. The deficit will be gone, and teh National Debt will be dented.

The Link cited was pulled. Try this one, and scroll down to the interview between Bill Mahr and Alexandra Pelosi. It goes from the poor Red Neck attitude towards Obama and his hand-outs to those O'bots in NYC expecting free (Obama) money....
