Considering 60% of the nation agrees with your assessment, He should sit back and do nothing, in January allow the Republicans to vote against the Tax Cuts for 98% of the American working population.

This is what will happen if the fiscal cliff is not avoided, I say do it and let the people who voted for Obama deal with paying higher payroll taxes, higher taxes and losing exemptions:
Summary
A number of tax provisions either expired in 2011 or are scheduled to expire at the end of 2012.
These include the following:
• The Bush tax cuts, which reduced income taxes by reducing tax rates, reducing
the marriage penalty, repealing limitations on personal exemptions and itemized
deductions (PEP and Pease, respectively), expanding refundable credits, and
modifying education tax incentives. The Bush tax cuts also reduced estate tax
liabilities by increasing the amount of an estate exempt from taxation and by
lowering the tax rate.
• The alternative minimum tax (AMT) patch, which, by increasing the amount of
income that is exempt from the AMT and allowing certain personal credits
against the AMT, prevents an estimated 26 million additional taxpayers from
owing the AMT.
• The payroll tax cut, which reduced an employee’s share of Social Security taxes
by two percentage points.
• A variety of previously extended temporary tax provisions, commonly referred to
as “tax extenders,” which affect individuals, businesses, charitable giving,
energy, community development, and disaster relief.
Go for it Obama.

We know that rich are going to see their taxes go up. The problem is that just taxing them more won't keep up with current spending. The best course of action will be to lower the 'rich' designation to anyone making over $100K. Even at a 40% tax rate, they will still make well over the national average.
Yes, Obama and the liberal elites know once there is a elite class and the poor, they have achieved thier goal. They know that americans will have nothing else to fight with once you take their money and their guns.

I know this whole banter, political ideology thing is fun but if fleecing the rich in taxes only raises an extra 70,000 million and you're running over a 1,000,000 million in annual deficits, isn't there a bigger problem to consider?
That's not even enough for a bad tip on a bill that big.
So, the solution is to add NO new revenue? Is that your idea, then?

If so, it's idiotic.

Dumbass. The separation of rich and poor's been widening since at least Reagan's Presidency. The tax rates of the rich have been declining since the '50s, as well.

You want to "try" a "deception?" Are you all there, drunk, or what?

Bet you never called for Reagan to be impeached for Iran/Contra, or Bush II to be impeached for Iraq, didja?

The same proposal that got him reelected, make permanent the current rates on the first $250K in earnings, and go back to the Bill Clinton tax rates and policies.

It only makes sense to just do nothing and avoid the agitation of talking to the Republicans who want to cut Social Security and Medicare.

Medicare and Social Security are funded entirely different than the spending that caused our debt.

It's to the Democrats benefit to make the Republicans vote against tax cuts for 98% of the American workers to protect the interest of the top 2% of income earners, with the midterms coming.

Your problem here is that those are all lies.

The increasingly wide income division is almost ENTIRELY the fault of the Right and reTHUGlicans, people have lost jobs and money due to Conservative economics and Wall St., and of course no one's taking ANYONE's guns. The latter is merely NRA fearmongering driven by gun sellers.

IOW, you need to stop lying and wise up, if that's even possible.

Your messiah has not come for the guns, yet. He will, but he will be sneaky about it. He is not to be trusted. May I suggest you find a gun club, and stash the guns until later. There are several in Indana.
