And then he heads to fundraising venues.

In order for the American people to pick up his tab, Obama must first make an 'official' visit, then he spends his time fundraising and we STILL pick up that travel tab.

Same thing for Michelle. She makes sure she has 1 official visits and then spends the rest of the time on vacation.

Obama's back in Tampa, FL on Friday.

Meanwhile, you're paying how much in gas for your vehicle?

Even if ALL the million/billionairs paid MORE in taxes, it still would NOT get the government out of DEBT.

The problem isn't from taxation; the problem is SPENDING MONEY the government doesn't have!

Getting people mad at rich folks and blaming them for our problems is more of an attempt to create CLASS WARFARE than it is at addressing the REAL problems.

Another ploy from Obama and his party. He has to play the class warfare,anti-woman and the race card every chance they get because he can't run on his record. He is running scared, both he and his party knows he will be voted out in November, thank God.

This is proof of just how stupid Obama is or how stupid he thinks you will be at the voting booth, take your pick.

He thinks rich people must be stupid and that if he raises taxes on their capital gains so he can collect revenue from their investment income they will pay it.

The rich will do what they always do when you change the tax code they change their behavior. They will just not realize their capital gains and wait for the rates to change again.

What is more important is that he is raising taxes when we are not out of the recession, the same logic which he uses to not cut spending yet applies to taxes. If you were to raise them you need to wait because all you will do is slow down the economy.

Obama has even admitted that he knows is not going to bring in any more revenue to a significant degree but wants to do it anyway because it our of fairness. If your work for a paycheck you don't have to worry about showing up on payday and being told you owe money, you pretty much know what your going to get by looking at your wage and how many hours you put in. With investment income you might invest and after selling your investment come away with 10% more than you put in or you can come away with 10% less and be glad you did not loose more than that. It is a risk to invest that is why it is taxed at a lower rate, otherwise you will slow down economy because people don't have the incentive to investment.

Obama is only doing this to try to get people to blame the rich for their not being rich and seeing him on their side. He knows it is not going to help the problem but he does not care, he only wants to get elected cause he thinks it is really cool to be president regardless what it cost you.

Political brilliance to call it the BUFFET RULE. The guy who has on many occasions who has said on so many cases in so many ways: "Yeah there is CLASS WARFARE and my class is kicking your class' asses!

But brainwashed conservatives are dumb enough to believe that those advocating the basic fairness and policies that served the country so well from the end of WW II thru Reagan's voodoo economics are promoting 'class warfare.'

Back where there was real pain involved in being poor there were not generational welfare families and you did not have people who could not pay for themselves being a large brood into the world for other people to pay for.

NEW VIDEO: PRESIDENT REAGAN BACKS THE BUFFETT RULE
“Last fall, when President Obama debuted the Buffett Rule — the simple idea that millionaires and billionaires should pay at least the same tax rate as middle class workers — we climbed into the wayback machine and found a video of President Ronald Reagan decrying “crazy” tax loopholes that allowed a millionaire to pay a lower tax rate than a bus driver.

“With the Senate set to vote one week from today on a Buffett Rule bill that would make sure millionaires and billionaires pay a minimum tax rate of 30 percent, we now present another video of former President Reagan supporting the principle behind the Buffett Rule. In today’s video,

"President Reagan describes a letter he received from an executive who wanted to come to Washington and tell Congress why it’s “wrong” that he was able to “take advantage of the present tax code” to pay a lower tax rate than his secretary.

The top tier tax rate and the corporate tax rate should be tied to the unemployment rate.
Start with a base of about 6%.
If it is higher their taxes go up, if it is lower their taxes go down.

Then the job creators will have to put up or shut up.

You are so right!! I cannot believe the stupidity of the folks who commented before you, especially the genius you replied to.
Haven't they been paying attention to what is happening in their country for the past several decades? All I see posted here is misinformation, more misinformation and even more misinformation. How can grown people(assumption)be so wrong so much of the time?

Oh No?!?!? What about in the late '70's & early '80's when women received more welfare the more kids they had? People were being paid to have kids back then and were very happy to comply.

LMAO, this country was founded by successful, rich guys. It took successful smart rich guys industrial companies to win the ww2. Also Fairness? Life is not fair , so get over it. This is almost as bad as not having kids keep score in sports anymore. Life is about winners and losers, it is part of being human.

Only a brain dead republicunt would think that a billionaire should have lower tax rates than people making 50k per year. Do republicunts feel that they should be punished for making less than a million per year? Do they have self loathing issues? Are they all stupid?
